Random Story Telling Time!

Ok, so a little boy's parents are in the process of a divorce, a product of paternal infidelity (ya know how that goes). Recently, the judge granted visitation to the father's home every other weekend. This weekend was the first.

He returns to his mother's house and this once energetic little ball of fire is more like a lifeless dust ball. He has bursts of anger, crying fits, and is extremely quiet.

Well this little boy happens to be my little bro. Idk what happened that weekend, or his 12 yo mind is finally realizing that his parents aren't getting back together. it could be many things! Either way, I'm worried.

Any suggestions? Post your comment.

  1. Talk to him. Ask him why he hasn't been himself lately. If he's upset about the divorce, tell him that it's okay to be upset. Maybe take a walk, or do something to help him feel better and keep his mind off the situation for a while.
